The Mom-me Connection
Welcome!
The mom-me connection is an ongoing series for new mothers and mothers to be. Mom-me connection exists to provide a forum for new mothers to have their questions about breastfeeding and new motherhood answered by registered nurse lactation consultants, in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment. Mom-me will also give new mothers a chance to meet other new mothers in the community while they learn how to care for themselves as well as their new babies.
Series topics:
- How to know you are doing everything right!
- What can I eat while I am breastfeeding?
- Pumping and storing breastmilk.
- Wearing your baby in a baby sling.
Each meeting will open with a 15 -20 minute presentation followed by questions and answers, discussion and fellowship. The meetings are very informal, refreshments will be served. You may come to all of the series or only the topics you are interested in. No reservation is needed.
The Mom-Me Connection meets the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m.
